the real time monitor from lavasoft is pretty good...I don't ever get positive results from any of these programs, no cookies, no registry values, nothing...the giant would be good if it monitored cookies, but it doesn't yet
I will say that SpySweeper is OK, but it is not much better than AdAware+Spybot combined. The main things that AdAware will not completely clean are certain VX2 and CWS infections, both of which are not cleaned by SpySweeper. Certain things will always need someone manually removing them who knows what they are doing.
To Date I run Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware SE 1.05, Spy Sweeper (Trial which expires soon) and MS Antispyware (previously GIANT) I have found that Spybot and Ad-Aware are decent and catch most things, Spysweeper can remove some things better, and MS Antispyware does just as well. I run all of them for the simple reason that one program offten catches things that the others miss, and can remove spyware that the others have trouble with. One other program I use is Spywareblaster which is a big help in proventing spyware from installing in the first place. its not a bad form of protection for free
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
